The Morris Plains Boro District, which sends its students to the Morris School District come high school, is receiving a nearly-21 percent increase in state aid for 2012-13. That district will receive $465,716, an increase this year of $97,412.
All school districts in Morris County are receiving state aid bumps, with the School District of the Chathams getting the highest increase by percentage, 29.7, totaling $429,210. By comparison, the Dover School District is getting only a 5.2 percent increase, but that uptick equals $1,187,045, bringing their total state aid up to $22,675,054, the largest in the county.
